Summary:

Against the backdrop of Samsung’s expansion into Taylor, a Taylor ISD education administrator visited South Korea as part of a cultural and educational enrichment program. The program focused on gaining an in-depth understanding of Korean society and its education system through firsthand experiences at schools, historical and cultural sites, and industrial facilities. This experience served as an opportunity to explore educational approaches that prepare students for a global environment in response to the growing presence of Korean companies such as Samsung in the region. Building on this experience, Taylor ISD plans to gradually expand programs in Korean culture and language in the future.
