Chairperson Ryu emphasized plans to <span class=\"s1\"><b>offer free Korean language classes<\/b><\/span> to underserved non-Korean communities and continue <span class=\"s1\"><b>teacher training and Korean language expansion<\/b><\/span> in U.S. schools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">California State Senator <span class=\"s1\"><b>Steven Choi<\/b><\/span> attended the event, delivered a congratulatory message, and presented an official certificate of recognition. The building was made possible through <span class=\"s1\"><b>community donations and proceeds from the \u201cEpic Korean\u201d textbook<\/b><\/span>, which is officially adopted by LAUSD.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The foundation aims to <span class=\"s1\"><b>establish more Korean language classes<\/b><\/span>, <span class=\"s1\"><b>launch AP Korean<\/b><\/span>, and further promote Korean language, culture, and history, especially among non-Korean communities.
